The characters of this series Love the series as a whole and intend to keep reading it but this one was largely a miss for me Another amazing story 45 stars I am literally blow away by how great this series is and continues to be The way the stories overlap yet continue on has got to mean some wicked planning for the author James and Rowan were wonderful characters flawed when we meet them but each with the help of the other rises to new heights of life and love My only drawbrack was there were A LOT of tiny errors throughout this book which didn t occur in the others I m really enjoying this series this was a lovely leap of faith for James who was traumatized by his childhood and Rowan who lacked direction The slow romantic acceptance of each other was beautiful James disability had limited impact in the story and that was great 35 starsI liked it better than the previous books and the overlapping wasn t a big deal here It was also unexpectedly filthy Rowan is ust so hot If only he tried to communicate his feeling betterRounding down because the self loathing got too much for my tastes after a while I think I have to call it on this one I ve been pushing to finish it but I m still only at 53% and getting nowhere fast with it I haven t been very engaged the last several books The elements are there but it s almost like I m reading a summary of the plot because it s not bringing the feels that it shouldDNF and probably the end of the series for me. N who was willing to turn his life upside down for one man even if he knew deep
down James Gossett was probably the one When it’s obvious wants Rowan James was probably the one When it’s obvious James wants Rowan as much Rowan realizes he can’t say no So he makes James a proposition he’ll help James discover himself in the bedroom no strings attached until Rowan leaves the state But will that be enough for both lonely men Or will they somehow find a way to come together in spite of the distance between them Bio Mechanical is the fourth book in the Irons and Works series It contains no cheating and a HEA Each book can be read as a stand alone though reading the previous books will help with some background context of other character.

StarsBio Mechanical Is Book FourMechanical is book four EM Lindsey s excellent Irons and Works series I have been reading this series somewhat out of order as well as skipping
books and the stories alone well enough that it is working Nicholas Flamels First Codex just fine The books are designed as standalones though there is a large cast of characters that make up a lovely found family and who appear in each other s books So the you read the developed the stories are but you canump in at any point In this case Bio Mechanical actually connects really well to the last book I read Blank Canvas as that is Sam s story and we meet Rowan there as his attorney The timelines for the books overlap significantly so the stories fit together wellRead Jay s review in its entirety here This is definitely the weakest of the series thus far I really liked the characters but their relationship was pretty flat and honestly I got pretty bored about halfway through thisBummer But I will continue Looking forward to Wyatt and Mat This book is one awesome addition to this series that a freaking LOVEJames and Rowan are so damn sweet and hotThis one is my favorite in the series SO FAR but next will be Mat and Wyatt do all bets are off lol This was the best book of this series so far in my humble opinion Maybe it s because I could identify somewhat with James remembering my own time in the Southern Baptist church I already loved Rowan from Sam s story This is also the hottest book of. Having grown up the son of a Southern Baptist preacher James Gossett was expected to be one thing and one thing only a God fearing straight Christian man It didn’t help that from a young age James knew he was different He hid the truth about who he was from himself and from his family until a freak accident during a routine simulation right after basic training cost him both legs and nearly his life Knowing what he almost lost James decided to come out and with that lost the rest of the blood kin he had left alive Settling in Fairfield James rediscovered what it meant to be part of a family who loved him for who he was but he still had one big secret kept close to his heart In spite ,Some Books And The Stories
The series as Rowan takes James on a ourney of sexual discovery
so that James can move past the religious repression inflicted by histhat James can move past the religious repression inflicted by his the preacher It s paced to fit coinciding with their developing feelings without becoming sex heavy My heart ached for them when they reach a crossroads of what feels like impossible decisions The author adds such realism to the character s actions along the way staying true to characterizations begun in the previous stories with the addition of dual perspectives James need for prosthetics is presented in a matter of fact fashion none of the overblown angst over his appearance often seen in books with disabled protagonists There is some angst not too intense but the level of feels and emotional resonance was high I m super excited to see how Mat and Wyatt s story will play out since Mat is the straight guy of the group I do recommend reading the series in order Parts of each book run concurrently and there is lots of crossover Well worth itAn ARC was provided by the author publisher or a promotional service and I have chosen to publish a fair and honest review I have LOVED this series but this one did not work for me I could not feel the chemistry I did not fall in love with these guys nor did I really understand why they fell in love with each other There were serious things happening and they were sweet good guys of course but I ust wasn t invested I
am looking forward to the next one I have and still do love all. F his promiscuous reputationlooking forward to the next one I have and still do love all. F his promiscuous reputation was a virgin in every sense of the word and he wasn’t sure that would ever change Rowan Balk was dedicated to one thing and one thing alone ensuring that that would ever change Rowan Balk was dedicated to one thing and one thing alone ensuring that child would ever suffer what he did at the hands of a prejudiced system Having been torn from his disabled adoptive mother shortly after her MS diagnosis Rowan grew up with a fire in him to make sure no one ever felt his pain But his determination came at the expense of ever finding love and until he set foot in Fairfield he was okay with that Then he set eyes on the uiet southern tattoo artist with secrets in his eyes and a mouth he could get lost in for days But Rowan wasn’t the sort of perso.
