19th AkshauhiniAble to agree with his wordsI must state that it is ur lack of seeing through his words for ur problem Read the full review here the video review here there are many books that are based on GITA this book offers a whole new perspective on this epic While the book has been written for a specific audience those who believe in Gita it offers answers to a lot of uestions that one might have The authors have used research methodology in order to gather information and lay it down for it s readers in a very Simplistic MannerThe First Part mannerThe first part the book reads just like an in depth research report would look with the premise which is followed by data analysis and finally the conclusion The next part is the pictorial representation of the data and its results so we have various sketches of what Gita says vs what we understood dialogues between father daughter and much Including the pictorial representations was a stroke of genius as it helps break the monotony and explain all the complex details uite simply the person who said a picture is worth a thousand words could not have uttered truer words Sometimes some books get under the skin This is one of those I had a fair deal of knowledge about the subject of the book But I am always in pursuit of improving adding new ideas and thoughts to what I already know Especially when the subject is Hindu Dharma or spiritualityThis book is a failure in my opinion It starts with a hint of fanaticism where the author don t want the reader to follow any other god other than Lord Krishna I understand that in order to learn Gita one must surrender to Lord Krishna first But it is not necessary to continue even after finishing learning from the book You can continue to follow whatever faith ou want to The author disagrees He wants everyone to follow Lord Krishna only This is not the essence of Hinduism which allows anyone to follow any type of God not demeaning or disrespecting the restFirst half of the book is utter nonsense The author tries to explain the title of the book giving examples from other fields tries to build a story to explain the core part but ends up confusing the reader It has been written in bland and boring language which might force Kotlin - Les fondamentaux du dveloppement d'applications Android you to give up the bookThe second half tries to explain Gita It touches few expects of the book which get repetitive asou read further Even this part is written in such a way that it fails to grab readers attention Every now and then the book throws tables at Dialogue aux enfers entre Machiavel et Montesuieu you whichou can t dodgeAll in all this book is waste of time This won t help ou in understanding or learning Guta in any way These days many writers are publishing books based on Gita or their own version of Gita It is good to see such books doing good in Bestseller s List because this generation needs to know about the Indian mythology and there is no better way than reading such books which are written in simple and friendly language The latest book that I have read based on Gita is 19th Akshauhini which the author calls it as explanation that I have read based on Gita is 19th Akshauhini which the author calls it as an explanation algorithm the Gita The book is written by the father daughter duo Haribakth and Vaishnavi The author have tried to answer many uestions that he feels people want to know The book is divided into three parts The spiritual part the mundane part and the last one is the pictorial prese. An away from battle advise Arjuna to fight his enemies How can a forty minute discourse of the Gita be complete knowledge How can a 5300 ear old dialog be relevant to modern times If the Gita is unchanging isn't it too rigid and uns. Ntation of dialogues through which a reader can easily understand the concepts Author have tried to explain how Gita is relevant in today s world even after 5300 ears Many examples and situations are discussed through which Gita s credibility has been proved Many myths have been busted by the author through explanation of difficult terms and breaking them down for a layman to understand how certain rules have been created Author have also widely tried to prove how God have not been wrong in cases rules have been created Author have also widely tried to prove how God have not been wrong in cases we easily get off by giving the example of that one mistake committed by God There are many perspectives of a scenario being discussed and also how there are alternatives to the primary one is told to the readers I personally found the first and the last part of the book very reader friendly and interesting The middle section of the book becomes little boring Also I didn t find few topics relevant to be included in this book The research behind writing this book is clearly visible in the way author have given the references and practical examples I also liked the tabular representation in between of the chapters where the uestions and their respective answers are shared with the readers There are many uestions that will get answered for ou through this book so it s definitely one of the good books based on Gita and explanation of how it can be followed in our modern world I have little complaint with the publisher for publishing this book in such a large size It has made it so heavy that reader will find it hard to carry with him while traveling or reading while lying on the bed Also the price of the book is on the higher side This might act as a blockage for this book towards its journey of becoming a Bestseller I give this book 375 out of 5ThanksABHILASH RUHELA VEERU The book 19th Akshauhini attempts to deal with the dilemmas of our modern generation from Gita s perspective with an open mindRead the full review here Got this book from the author to reviewA very nice and informative guidehandbook regarding the GitaThe book gives a lot of unknown info about the majestic epic Most of the uestions regarding the Gita have been answered and a lot of wrong views and perspectives have also been pointed outSo when one will read this guidehandbook heshe will know some new things regarding the Gita and a lot of wrong views regarding different scenes and saying of the so called well known epic will also be correctedOverall it can be said that it s a awesome guide to know the exact and true message of the Gita This was an amazing book on Gita The author has done his best to exert his own views Moreover there are many uestions which have been answered in this book and those uestions are often in the minds of the readers who are either too new to Gita or too old to it minds of the readers who are either too new to Gita or too old to it finished this book long ago and got the opportunity to share my views Haribakth the author has given new dimensions to the discussions on Shrimad Bhagwad Gita The modern allusions and analogies that he has tried to draw are something courageous as well as suitable for the modern readers For the first time I have seen use of tables in a book on Gita The second section of the book with sketches by Vaishnavi is also eually important The book is a uality read for experienced people as well as first timers. Uitable for modern times How can one discourse cater to the needs of diverse types of people Does the Gita encourage violence Isn't the Gita sectarian and meant for Hindus Read on to get a new perspective on the Gita and its teaching.
